So it occurred to us, sometime after the Microsoft shindig, that none of us have been posting a thing about the show. Yeah, I know, we’re hella-awesome at this press gig! (and yes, I’m bringing back “hella”). We’ve actually been doing quite a bit… networking and so on. To give a quick recap of the week so far: went to the Kotaku party, waited in line with some cool cats from Destructoid (got their party thing tonight), scored some free drinks on Crecente’s tab, got bored, bailed… Ate great Thai. Day two. Ass-crack of dawn… Microsoft press briefing.

Microsoft was interesting, to say the least, not so much because of the content of the brief or that they’ve somehow become Sony (making a lot of promises they can’t/won’t keep), but more because we ended up in the camera “cage”, as broadcast media, thanks to a kindly gentleman with a weak bladder.

There were a lot of announcements that we’ll be touching on shortly, but for me, seeing McCartney and Ringo on stage was all I needed. Left 4 dead 2 also may be worth checking out ;D.
