SSFIV: NEW TRAILER

Here’s the new Super StreetFighter IV Trailer!!! It has the awesome introduction of the 3 previously mentioned characters as well as a cool new segment featuring the already mentioned Alpha series characters! The direction here is awesome with a load of great music selections. This is also the first we get to hear of the English voice acting that will be quickly switched back to Japanese just as soon as SSFIV finds its way into your grubby little paws. Enjoy!

Hip-Hop And Video Games: Mixed Together In Perfect Harmony

So a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine was perusing the internet for bits of video game gold scattered about your typical popular messaging forums when he stumbled across a real gem: The Chrono Trigger Mixtape, Vol. 1 (a collection of popular music performed by hip-hop artists set to sampled and remixed music from Chrono Trigger for the Super Nintendo).   After giving it a listen I immediately concluded that I needed to find more music like this and share it with the world.

ZOMG: SFIII in my SSFIV?!?

Images posted at EventHubs tonight have confirmed what we all expected. Street Fighter III characters Dudley, Makoto and Ibuki are all confirmed for Super Street Fighter IV! Scans of the Japanese gaming mag Famitsu show the first (crummy) images of the characters and give us a taste of the awesome that is inevitably in store for us when the new trailer hits us squarely in the teeth. Normandy Women Are Easy!

Mass Effect 2 is a wonderfully enthralling game in the sense that whatever you say and do has an impact on the game and future games in the series. It’s a rare game where I actually think very carefully about what I am going to say, and probably the only game ever that I have actually saved my game before having a conversation with a character in fear that I will set in motions a chain of events that I don’t want to happen. Dialogue options are almost endless in the game, and while it is cool that you can choose to be an asshole or a nice guy while saving the universe there is more to the game – gratuitous sex!  Continue reading…
