ZOMG: SFIII in my SSFIV?!?

ZOMG: SFIII in my SSFIV?!?

Images posted at EventHubs tonight have confirmed what we all expected. Street Fighter III characters Dudley, Makoto and Ibuki are all confirmed for Super Street Fighter IV! Scans of the Japanese gaming mag Famitsu show the first (crummy) images of the characters and give us a taste of the awesome that is inevitably in store for us when the new trailer hits us squarely in the teeth. As rumored since the initial reveal of Super Street Fighter IV, the recent 3 characters further prove the initial character list leak posted on both Neogaf and Shoryuken.com (thanks Henaki) and the rumors heard at Tokyo Game Show were totally spot on. The 3 recently revealed characters were not terribly surprising, as things panned out just as previously mentioned, but tempers were flaring at Neogaf/SRK message boards after the interview with tournament player Keno revealed no new information on characters and caused some doubt as to whether the characters not yet mentioned would be in the game at all. (Keno seemed to be hinting that things are not what they seem…) It seems all that was a canned Capcom PR response formulated to keep us on our toes.

So without further adieu, the 3 newish characters that we all knew about but kept thinking that Capcom might take away from us as punishment for not buying GodHand,  are…

Makoto in the classic Crayola Yellow suit. (Y-E-S!) and you can also see Juri in her Alternate costume. Quite sexy.. If your're into fake crap. Nerds!

And finally here are the scans of the Famitsu mag, for you to look at and wish was published here, and in English and packaged with bubble gum… Unless that bubblegum was the garbage Pail Kids Bubble Gum… Which I would accept only if it came with the magazine and the English and the crappy gum then threw in some of the cards too… That might work out fine.

Stay tuned for an orgy of well directed character trailers to join these soon. Our faces haven’t even started getting beaten in yet… Keep in mind we still have 1 more character to go; The Arab oil wrestler Hakan, who is rumored to be “flamboyantly homosexual”. I certainly hope that this is not the case, as an awesome villain grappler in SSFIV would be really neat. As it stands Hakan has been reported to “oil himself up and slide at his opponents…”
