Watch This Video: God of War in Modern Times?

So I watched Josh beat God of War III last night and it was pretty cool and all. During the ending I started wondering what direction they would take for another God of War game. I am to lazy to look up sources but I remember one of the lead developers saying that they were done with Greek mythology but some other big Sony guy said that they were still interested in the Greek setting. I kind of assumed that they could take the series in the direction of Roman or Norse mythology or something along those lines. I casually joked to Josh that it would be awesome if they did a God of War: Modern Warfare. Then I saw the above video today. Apparently if you beat the God of War Collection on “Spartan” you unlock this hidden gem. So, do any of you think that a God of War game would actually work in modern times? It sounds like a really fun idea at first, but I am not sure that it would actually work.

Game Crush Will Hook You Up for Less Than $10

So there’s this new thing that’s launching today called Game Crush.  It’s a service that allows you to play either a simple Flash game via their site, or a multiplayer game over Xbox 360 Live, with an “attractive girl”.  I’m going to assume that a lot of guys are going to stop after reading the first two lines of my article and think “I like games AND attractive women…  How and where do I sign up!?”  And to prove my assumption was, in fact, spot on, I’ll provide photographic evidence.

The Argument Against a Gaming Girlfriend

I thought to myself the other day (while pining for the current love of my life), “What it would be like to have a girlfriend that was into gaming as much as I am?” I’m sure many of you have thought how awesome it would be to be able to sit down and play your current obsession while having your significant other be just as into it as you are. After careful consideration, I think this would suck. Let me be clear about this; I’m not talking about your girlfriend that likes to play Wii, or grew up playing King’s Quest, or Choplifter – we can all get along with those girls just fine. I’m talking about a REAL gaming girlfriend that gets wet when thinking about ripping off Helios’ head in God of War 3. A girl that can crush in 2D fighters, and can hold her own in Quake 3 Arena. Dating someone like that would present an interesting conundrum.

Look, We Made a Video!

Not a whole lot to it. Cory and Belisle were over one day so we thought it would be funny to make Cory jump in a fucking cold pool. Turn out, it was pretty funny. We probably filmed this a month ago and I just never got around to editing the video together, whatever. As usual, the video is complete crap but hopefully it will make you slightly more entertained that you were before watching it. The next video will be better, I promise. It will feature Belisle getting slapped several times.
