But, it just seemed a bit too fake. I liked the "somewhat realistic" tone of the first Mortal Kombat film. Although I know that with Street Fighter that it just has a less serious tone as a game, as well. So the movie has to either try to be overly serious to over compensate, or try to be less serious like the games, and neither has worked. I'm happy with them just making good Street Fighter games, and not getting a really good movie. They aren't going to get a director who is a fan enough to make it happen and provide the budget to make it happen. I liked them, too. But, it just seemed a bit too fake.
