This trailer really has me excited for Vanquish again. I got to play a demo of Vanquish at E3 and it really turned me off to the the game. The controls were clunky and everything in the game just didn’t work.

Don’t get me wrong, I only played the game for all of 5-10 minutes before I gave up. The ridiculous action in the trailer looks great though. I think if I would have the chance to play the game from the start to acclimate myself with the controls I would have a much better experience.

I really love the visual style of this game. The direction this game’s going is a direction I like. Like Bayonetta, the over-the-top action is sometimes surreal. Almost like if you’re playing some of those ridiculous animes with the massive explosions (over 9000) going off every five minutes. Imagine the hectic feeling some players get when they’re running out of space in Tetris, desperately trying to fit every block as they fall faster and faster. Vanquish is going to be like that, though instead of worrying about tons of blocks coming at you, it’s tons of bullets, bombs, and robots. It’s going to sweet
