BBC Worldwide and Blue Ocean have teamed up with God in an effort to make me waste even more money on useless Doctor Who paraphernalia.  FML.  The Sonic Screwdriver Wii Remote will, as far as I can tell, serve no functional purpose other than its innate ability to not get its purchaser laid.  I, luckily, have incredible hair, which will prevent being subjugated to such a terrible fate.

The Sonic WiiDriver is based on the current (11th) incarnation of the Doctor and will release alongside the new DW game, Return to Earth.  Admittedly, the thing does does look well built.  Clearly I’m basing this assumption off the single screenshot attached, however, I’m fairly confident in my eyesight and I’m never wrong.  So, you know, I’ve got that going for me.  The biggest downside, next to what will surely be an inflated price point, is that this wonderous toy is only available in the UK.  As soon as they become available, I’ll import the damn thing and let you guys know if it’s any good or not. Till then, courage.
