So… back in January at CES, the Parnassus Group threw a little TweetHouse get-together, where we got the chance to hob-nob with Andy Dick and some other cool cats. Later that night we even got the chance to attend the Monster Retail Awards and see Earth, Wind, and Fire play live. Major props to staff writer Scott Meaney for the hook-up there.
We’ve talked about that night a lot on the podcasts, but since our GolgoGallery plug-in was broken (meaning I probably couldn’t figure it out), we didn’t get the chance to post pictures — until now. We had a killer time (and got some bomb-ass pictures) so we figured we’d still post them.
As a side note, this was the event where our “man with the plan” NamelessTed was spotted and featured on the Woot Blog! So give them a look-see after the break!

Two of my most photogenic friends (Adam-left, Barny-right) set off on an epic quest.
This is their tragic story as told by Adam.
PAX East. An emancipation from your daily routine that provides you with the opportunity to check out the latest and upcoming games, mingle with developers and purview numerous technological wares. Oh, and did I mention the smoking hot booth babes and cosplay girls?
On that subject, the act of getting your picture taken with an extremely attractive female is a challenge in itself. My good friend Barny and I pursued this endeavor, naturally, by likening it to an early NES game a la Ninja Gaiden. It required courage, much repetition, and a complete disregard for personal safety. So, with the right mindset and using as much confidence as we could muster, we struck forth with camera in tow onto the show floor in search of said ladies.

The Penny Arcade Expo has come and gone. It was a blast, and the good news is that we’re now three weeks closer to the next one.
So why should you look forward to this event? Number one reason: the ChatterBox TreasureBox Video Game Trivia Show. In case you didn’t know, ChatterBox is an AM radio show and podcast out of Phoenix, AZ and an older member of the Golgotron family. I’ve been doing the show for over six years now, and for most of that time, I’ve also been running the ChatterBox TreasureBox at PAX Prime. For those who’ve attended, you know what it’s all about: we get a ton of prizes, pull three very lucky and genius people up on stage, and bombard them with video game trivia to baffle and entertain. To keep it interesting, there’s a slew of questions and prizes for the audience as well.
Read on to see some of the trivia questions we asked, the stuff we gave away, and the sponsors who made it possible… and for the first time ever, we’ve got video of the whole thing.
