Super Street Fighter IV: Hakan is here… Featured | (3)
As is typical of the internet, Hakan, the tenth and final (?) character to be added to the cast of Super Street Fighter IV, was debuted a couple days earlier than expected.  IGN's Daily Fix posted the debut trailer earlier this evening and all I can say is wow. I don't think that now is the best time to get into what I think about Capcom's design philosophy for this title, but I am interested to see what you folks think. Continue Reading...

An appropriately titled article about spoilers Featured | (5)
There will not be any spoilers in this post because there is nothing to spoil in a game. Last month, a month that has probably one of the biggest gaming has seen in a long time, the internet was abuzz in discussions filled with spoilers about Mass Effect 2 and Heavy Rain. These games contain as much story as any game possibly could. Yet, the story isn't supposed to be the apex of video game discussion. Any gamer could tell you the story to The Legend of Zelda. It's about an eleven year old boy traveling the world and collecting ...

Molly and Cory Double-Team Kratos Featured | (8)
I woke up last Sunday morning feeling very thirsty…  So thirsty, in fact, that I felt as though a mere mortal’s drink like water would not satisfy me.  No, I required something stronger.  Something GODLY.  I called up Cory and Josh and soon afterward we were headed to our local 7-Eleven convenience store to obtain what I needed – a Blackberry Lime Kratos Slurpee. Continue Reading...

Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Return to the Second Dimension Featured | (11)
Sega recently announced what many gamers have been hoping for years: a return to the 2D roots of the series. After years of failures in the 3D realm, Sega has made the move back to the fast paced 2D side scrollers that put them on the map as a console maker. Before you go getting too excited and all nostalgic, let me remind you that even this switch back to 1991 is going to suck. When is the last time that you dusted off your Genesis or hell even bought one the old titles on the current generation of consoles ...

Halo Reach Leaked Multiplayer Footage – Stop Everything and Shit Your Pants! Featured | (6)
This is seriously amazing. My guess is that when Bungie said something earlier this week that they were going to drop a bomb next week, it was this footage. Fortunately for us, it got leaked and is available for our viewing pleasure. I don't really want to say much about the video because it pretty much stands on its own but I think Bungie is really going to out-do themselves with this game JETPACKS!!!!

Was Heavy Rain’s plot stolen from Super Mario Bros? Featured | (2)
Alright, Im about 6 hours into Heavy Rain. Im loving it, Im hating it... Everything a good entertaining experience should be. However there is a sneaking suspicion that I cant get over that I've done this emotional roller coster before. I wake up early in the morning, hit ^ to get out of bed, I turn around a few times not knowing how to walk properly and then finally get my short dumpy ass to the bathroom. I have some options. so I decided to press >. I turn on the water and wash my hands. Continue Reading...

GolgoCast Episode 21 – The podcast finally arrives Featured, Media | (5)
This week's podcast was released late because of a combination of laziness and shame. Listen to the tales of a bunch of drunken fools as they try to talk seriously about videogames, love, and life. Or really just videogames.
