Today was the first look at the expo floor of PAX East. The amount of things to look at is just overwhelming. The floor is a crazy fast-paced arena of lines and lines for lines to wait in line. While I couldn’t dig too deeply into the party, I was able to sample a few layers of the cake, and I’m willing to share a piece with you. But only because you’re special.

NeverDead – Review

The first time I saw the trailer for NeverDead – the latest third person action game from Konami and Rebellion Development – I just knew I had to get my hands on it. It had such a uniqueness to it that’s quite difficult to describe, but between the outlandish characters and the premise of immortality, there was something there. It looked strange, it looked fun, and it looked explosive. What was particularly strange was that I usually don’t go for these types of games – hack ‘n’ slash games with a bit of gunplay, like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. Will NeverDead reign immortal among these titles, or will it die before its time?

Review – SteelSeries Diablo III Gaming Mouse

A mouse is a mouse is a mouse. They are all basically the same other than the physical shape and the number of buttons they have. It is just a basic piece of hardware that we all use in our day to day lives. I agree with my fellow Golgotron writer Mr. Pharisee’s assessment that a standard mouse “…serves all my functions, gaming and non-gaming alike, just fine”. Also, like Mr. Pharisee, I found out how wrong I was when I wrapped my right hand around the SteelSeries Diablo III mouse. A simple mouse, for a simple (to control) game, the SteelSeries Diablo III mouse will show you what you have been missing with the standard mouse that has been included with every PC you have ever bought.
