The image galleries were slightly broken, and now they're not. Blame Wordpress for any trouble. Also note that I have applied liberal amounts of php duct tape to fix the problem, so if the site eventually cracks a gasket and breaks, oh well.

Game Designer Brian Reynolds has joined Zynga as Chief Designer. In other news, what the hell is Zynga? Oh look, there's a StarCraft II LAN petition. Battle.net be damned. Look, an interview with Terminal Reality Executive Producer Brendan Goss. Obligatory, "Who you gonna call?" joke goes here. The PS3 will emulate PS2 games,

Champions Online Delayed News | (0)
So it looks like September 1st is the new launch date for Champions Online. Apparently this is 'critically important', you know as opposed to just important or just critical. From Cryptic: It is critically important for an MMO to be as good as it possibly can be at launch. Through our constant dialogue with our vocal and supportive community of beta testers, we quickly realized that in order to implement certain features that we all considered important the development of Champions Online would require more time. So that's what we're going to give it. Cryptic has a proven track record of ...

Alan Wake to Have Animation Redone News | (0)
Remedy announced that it is going to be working with Imagination Studios for motion capture and character animation on their upcoming title Alan Wake. Any sort of update on the status of Alan Wake is a good thing seeing as how it was announced way back at E3 of 2005 and we still know very little about the game. This new tid bit of information is especially welcome considering the group they are working with for mo-cap and animation. Imagination Studios has a pretty impressive track record from working with several different studios. They worked with DICE for Battlefield: Bad Company ...

Modern Warfare 2 – No More Call of Duty? News | (0)
Maybe I am just reading into this too much, but it would seem that the new title from Infinity Ward will not be considered part of the Call of Duty series. The studio is responsible for creating the series as well as one of the most successful games of this generation, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Treyarch is the other studio responsible for titles like Call of Duty 3 as well as Call of Duty: World at War. Most of the people I talk with don't like the Treyarch developed titles as much as the main Infinity Ward titles. It ...

Call of Duty 4 Sales Hit 13 Million News | (0)
That is a lot of copies. I guess Mike Griffith, publishing CEO of Activision, said something about it earlier today. It has been about a year and a half since the game first released. In comparison, that is more than any Halo game, more than GTA 3 and very close to GTA Vice city sales. I don't know the specific details but I assume it is across the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the GOTY editions as part of the number as well. I would guess that the DS version of the game isn't included in the 13 million since it ...

Activision Announces Everything Hero News | (0)
It doesn't surprise me that Activision is coming out with more Guitar Hero games but this is getting ridiculous. Today Activision confirmed the release of both Guitar Hero 5 as well as Guitar Hero: Van Halen. On top of that they also announced Band Hero and DJ Hero. The naming difference between Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero confuses me a bit. Activision says that Guitar Hero 5 "gives players an unprecedented level of control over the way they play the game with the ability to drop in and out of songs and change band members, instruments and difficulty levels on ...

Garriott sues NCsoft for $24 million News | (0)
Richard Garriott, the creator of Ultima and Tabula Rasa, is suing former employer NCsoft for 24 million buckaroos. Of course any further detail is not known as it is an ongoing suit, but it looks as if the nature of the suite is related to, "Torts - Property - Other Fraud". Wikipedia helps us out explaining what Tort law is: Tort law is a body of law that addresses, and provides remedies for, civil wrongs not arising out of contractual obligations. The rest I'm going to steal from GameIndustry.biz, that's where the original article is anyway. Garriott (aka Lord British) famously left ...
