Kinect Will Absolutely Ship With Everything Required for Both New and Old Xbox 360s

Everybody needs to get on the same page and stop spreading insanely false rumors.  Way too many video game news sites and blogs have speculated that owners of the original model Xbox 360 will have to purchase some sort of power adapter in addition to Kinect.  This is simply not true and there is no reason for anybody to believe it.  Unfortunately, the rumor has been allowed to spread without question for far too long.  The bottom line is that when Kinect goes on sale for $150 later this year, all the cables that are required for both old and new Xbox 360s will be included in the retail box. I Can Be Crafty – Super Meat Boy! Bead Art

Yep.  So sometimes I make stuff.  With Perler beads.  They end up turning out pretty awesome.  Above is one of these creations.  It’s Super Meat Boy! and his girlfriend, Bandage Girl.  They’re in love.  The next time I make something crafty I’ll share it with the rest of you, because it’s my schtick.  I like crafting things from video games.

Microsoft Finally Confirms Kinect Price at $150

Nothing ground breaking here, it is mostly just Microsoft confirming what all the rumors have been saying over the past several weeks. First up, Xbox Kinect will retail for $150 and will come with Kinect Adventures. They also announced a new SKU for the Xbox 360 that will cost $200. This new unit is just like the slimmed down version that is already in stores with the exception of internal storage. Instead of having the large 250GB hard drive it will have 4GB of internal storage.

On top of those two announcement, Mircosoft also detailed their new Holiday Bundle for this year. Instead of bundling a couple of 2 year old games that nobody wants they decided to bundle the Kinect. For $300, you can get the new Xbox 360 4GB with Xbox Kinect. It isn’t a huge discount but you can take that $50 you will be saving and buy Dance Central with it. Oh, I guess I forgot to mention. Tron Evolution: The Evolution of the "Movie Game"

I’m probably not alone in this one, but the original Disney classic Tron was one of my favorite movies growing up.  It had a huge following, including some ridiculous guy that became an internet icon after he dressed up in a costume that lit up.  Tron could also possibly be one of the first “Movie Games” with its arcade-only companion that took you into the world of the game.  At the time, Tron’s interactive experience made the game and ahead of its time.
