Medal of Honor Open Beta Now Live

Electronic Arts has announced that the open beta portion of Medal of Honor is now live – just days after they announced that they would be renaming the opposing force in their newest entry (to the aptly named “Opposing Force” instead of Taliban). Damage control for some of the flak they received for the change? Maybe, but that’s another story entirely (seriously, check out our discussion of it on this week’s podcast when it goes up) – all I care about is how it plays (ie MW2 without the glitches).

Vindictus: “The First Thing It Does Is, It Gets Awesome!”

Now that you’ve been filled in, we can proceed.  Currently the game is in ‘Early Access to Open Beta’, and you can play by invite only.  HOWEVER, the beta opens to all on October 13th!  That’s right, no more begging on street corners for your beta-key, you can hop right on in less than 2 weeks!  I’ve been one of the few people I know fortunate enough to get an Early Access to Open Beta key and have had the joys of playing Vindictus.  Everything you’ve heard about this game (on the podcast) is right.
