PAX East Booth Party: Friday

Today was the first look at the expo floor of PAX East. The amount of things to look at is just overwhelming. The floor is a crazy fast-paced arena of lines and lines for lines to wait in line. While I couldn’t dig too deeply into the party, I was able to sample a few layers of the cake, and I’m willing to share a piece with you. But only because you’re special.

PAX East 2012 Coming Soon!

Well, I guess it’s that time of year again. The birds are singing, the trees are blooming, and the nerds are making that yearly pilgrimage to Boston, Massachusetts. That’s right; it’s the third annual run of PAX East! This weekend (April 6^th to April 8^th) is the greatest video game expo this side of the Mississippi. If you didn’t manage to get your tickets this year, don’t fret. The best podcast in town, the bEast Coast, will be on the scene scoping out all the hot info. With our expert crew of amateur reporters, we’ll make sure to bring you the best this expo has to offer.

PAX East: Booth Babe Rejectionfest

Two of my most photogenic friends (Adam-left, Barny-right) set off on an epic quest.
This is their tragic story as told by Adam.

PAX East. An emancipation from your daily routine that provides you with the opportunity to check out the latest and upcoming games, mingle with developers and purview numerous technological wares. Oh, and did I mention the smoking hot booth babes and cosplay girls?

On that subject, the act of getting your picture taken with an extremely attractive female is a challenge in itself. My good friend Barny and I pursued this endeavor, naturally, by likening it to an early NES game a la Ninja Gaiden. It required courage, much repetition, and a complete disregard for personal safety. So, with the right mindset and using as much confidence as we could muster, we struck forth with camera in tow onto the show floor in search of said ladies.
